Is this pandemic even survivable? Luckily, we're getting the Geekscape video game crew back together to walk you through the one media industry that hasn't been destroyed by the pandemic! Filmmaker Issa López's 'Tigers Are Not Afraid' is a horror fairytale told against the backdrop of Mexico's violent drug world... but through the eyes of a child. Using fantastical elements similar to Guillermo Del Toro films like 'Pan's Labyrinth' and 'The Devil's Backbone', it tells the story of abandoned street children fighting for survival and the ghosts that follow them in their journey. Issa took some time to talk about making the film, the challenges of mixing supernatural elements into a gritty, realistic story and working with such a young cast.
