Do you consider yourself to be a spiritual person? The Apostle Paul helps us to understand and evaluate our spirituality by giving a description of our mindsets. Our maturity is closely related to our progress mentally. It’s a good time to get our minds right.

Have you ever gotten distracted from what you were committed to doing? Distractions come in all shapes and sizes. The call of Christ for His disciples is to imitate His determination. Is there anyone or anything causing you to get off track?

Dwell: Resident Thoughts We have approximately 50,000 thoughts a day. What direction are your thoughts taking you in? The Apostle Paul challenges us to think about the things that will take us in the direction set forth by the good news of Christ. It starts with taking stock of the thoughts we dwell on each moment.

Luke records the conversations of Jesus with His disciples. In those conversations we discover the path to being great. Everybody can be great, but the path to greatness may be on a road that you would not suspect.

We are all storytellers. The stories we tell ourselves impact our feelings, actions and words. The mental stories that we tell impact our lives as well as those around us. If we are not careful our stories can jeopardize what God has for us.

Everyone has mountain top experiences, but they must travel back down the mountain into the valley. This is where we are most often tested and tried so that we can grow to maturity.

We all have internal conversations with ourselves. This is an opportunity to evaluate what you say to yourself. The Apostle Paul gives some insight to what words need to occupy our thoughts so that our minds are transformed and lead to healthy lives.

The transfiguration is one of the great witnesses to the glory of Christ. It is here that we have a verification and vocalization of the true character of Jesus. He is the Divine Deliverer.

The Christian life is not a matter of human wisdom or ability. Each believer needs divine help to be healthy and productive for the glory of God on earth. The Apostle Paul gives an incredible insight for the believer and admonishes us to put that truth to work in our lives so that we have healthy mental hygiene and God-glorifying lives.

Sometimes in life we think we know exactly how things are going to go, but then they don't go as we planned. Jesus transforms what religion looks like and flips it around making it all about what He has done for us, and not about what we can do for him.

Humans are complex creatures. Each one of us is made in the image of God, but that image has been deeply affected by the Fall. In this series we will take a look at how the mind has been impacted by sin and what God has done to remake us mentally in His image.

Jesus trained the twelve and sent them out. The best training for doing ministry is to do it. We can learn from the instructions of Jesus on how we are to minister the gospel to those around us.

The church is an unstoppable organism with a supernatural dynamic. This allows the church to not only stand throughout history, but to have success in her ultimate mission. The church has a role and God has a role in the story of salvation.

Death and disease remind us of our frailties. Does the Gospel offer any hope over these? We have discovered that Jesus has power over nature and the supernatural. In this story within a story, we discover the power of Jesus over the enemies of disease and death.

The birth of the church happened around 2,000 years ago. Jesus began building a movement that would spread throughout the world. The church is God’s plan to rescue people from death.

How can man be helped and healed? The world does it best to help men, but it seems it is not quite enough. Is there anyone that can truly change humanity?

There is news of the demise of the church. Is Christianity really dying? Will it be extinct in a few generations? This sermon takes a look at these questions and why there is great hope for the future of the church.
