Jesus wants His disciples to be prepared living in the now, so He tells them about the future. Jesus fulfilled prophecy, and He gave prophecy, so that we could have the proper approach to life in the present. Are we living how He desires for us to live?

What do you need to escape from? We all have things that we need to escape. But what is the one thing that is most pressing. This series starts by taking a look at one thing that is the most pressing item in your life.

Heroic qualities are often developed. No one begins their story expecting to be hero, but somewhere along the way if we trust God we may find ourselves facing extraordinary challenges. What made the difference for David, a shepherd boy, can make a difference in your life today.

You may not have a superpower, but God has given you an opportunity to be a hero. There is only one thing needed to make a difference in the lives of others. Heroes always have it. Jesus had it. And you can have it too.

What if you don’t have superpowers to jump over tall buildings or to superhuman strength? What can you do to be a hero? You can’t be a superhero, but you can be an unsung hero if you follow the right person.

Luke’s gospel helps us to see the infinite importance of making a decision about who Jesus Christ is and what He does. Some people would like to remain neutral and hold no opinion, but the nature of Christ and His work doesn’t allow us to hold this position.

Do you ever feel stuck? It’s easy to get comfortable where we are. But God will not allow us to stay comfortable. He will prod us to move when we are not willing to move. What is God using to move you today?
