Who was Melchizedek? Melchizedek and Jesus. How does this impact me? 

What is grief? Grief is acute pain that accompanies loss. The Grave of Grief; your pain is real. You have permission to feel. Jesus is not afraid of your grief. Jesus compassionately enters your grief with you. Jesus can give you His perspective and His presence with you. Where are you? (Red Dot-Blue Dot)  

Jesus is the high Priest; He is powerful and merciful and is drawing us closer.

Pay attention; pass the torch; hope anew; bad examples; what breaks your heart? Reality vs. Ideal

Uniting with Christ in His death and resurrection; counting ourselves dead to sin and alive in Christ; offering ourselves not to sin but to God.

Unbelief has consequences: makes God angry, leads to sin and disturbs our rest. How do we live in God’s rest? Protect your heart, be an encourager and persevere.

There is a Sabbath-rest available to all ... but not all will receive it. 

Stay focused on Jesus; on Jesus only; on Jesus our hope.

The WARNING, the DRIFT, the PRICE, the RECOVERY, the END.

But we see Jesus as our substitute, our sanctifier, our brother, our Satan-destroyer and our sympathizer.

Jesus came communicating.  Jesus has a lot to share with us.  Jesus created this earth and sustains it.  Jesus created a way that I might connect with God.  Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God.

Our destiny; our destiny restricted; our destiny restored.

Angels are powerful beings, but Jesus is greater. Angels are Jesus’ ministers, sent to serve those who are followers of Jesus.

What is the church? How does Heartland be the church?  

In the past God spoke. God spoke to us through Jesus. God still speaks today.

Jesus has a keen interest in His church. Jesus watches the church in Ephesus grow and die. So, how does a healthy, vibrant, hardworking and committed church die?

The helmet; salvation; why do we need a helmet?

Pray at all times.  Stay alert!  Pray with all kinds of prayer, with all perseverance and for all kinds of people.

The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God, a defensive weapon and an offensive weapon.
