Esprit de Corps is the French term which when translated to English means "spirit of body". It also means good morale, comradeship, and having a shared purpose. It is whenever people know that they belong to a team. It refers to group morale, “the capacity of a group of people to pull together persistently and consistently in pursuit of a common purpose.” People are committed not only to a common goal but to the common good of one another. We are the body of Christ and are called to love our mission and those who we are with us on the mission.
