Just like we have a natural thirst, we need to also have a desire and thirst for the Lord. In John 7:37 Jesus says that "All who are thirsty, come and drink..." To thirst for the Lord, means to desire to spend time with Him, to be in His presence and drink of Him. The more we drink of His presence, the more we want to drink of His presence.

The Bible has a lot to say about our words. The Bible tells us to watch what comes out of our mouths. The words we speak are seeds that are being soon: good-bad, positive-negative, life-death. Words are important. Proverbs 21:23 says "Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble."

What is the greatest of all human tragedies? The answer is that a person would die and be eternally separated from God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Hell is the greatest of all human tragedies. Hell is the absolute worst thing that can happen to a person. It is important that we as Christians are reminded of this. Every person who misses heaven will have to go to hell. But John 3:16 is the God's answer, he "so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that none would perish."
