Join us as we begin a new series highlighting an initiative of several local-area churches that are trying to show our love for Jesus by loving our neighbors. From the familiar story of The Good Samaritan, Pastor Dan challenges us to Love God and Love our Neighbor.

In this message, we see an angle of the model prayer that emphasizes the community aspect of prayer. Should our prayer life change from ME to WE? Jesus would say, "Yes." Get Connected: Ask someone, "How Can I Pray for you," and Practice a 5-5-5 Prayer rhythm.

"Membership has its privileges." This American Express slogan has widespread implications. Even for the church, some have tried to apply this slogan to church membership; however, it is totally different in the church. As a church, the fringe benefit is RESPONSIBILITIES...not privileges. Hear more in today's message: Get Connected: Be Selfless, Enthusiastic, Real, Vested, and Engaged.

Through dialect, our words reveal where we are from. However, our words also reveal what is in our hearts. How are you using your words? Pastor Dan shows us 3 ways things that are revealed by the way we use words in our life. Get Connected by Exalting God, Encouraging the Church, and Engaging a Friend.

In this message, we look at Jesus' parable on the "Laborers in the Vineyard." This parable informs our view of Heaven and our view of the kingdom work that happens in the church. Pastor Dan draws out three important lessons from the parable that help us to Get Connected: Grow Intentionally and Serve Faithfully.

Continuing the series on being Connected, this message focuses on the strong need for unity within the church. As the Apostle Paul finishes his letter to Timothy, he lists people that will carry on the ministry that he has begun. In our lives we should do the same. We need to make specific plans to pass on the baton of faith so the ministry that God has given us will not end with the end of our life. In this message, Pastor Dan sits down with one of our church members to share a testimony about passing faith on to others.

As Christians, we say we live our lives by the Bible, but do we? Do we really place the amount of importance on the Word of God that we should? On this day of celebrating our freedom, we focus on patriotism and its proper expression in light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How can we show our patriotism while making much of Jesus? Remember that while we may be earthly citizens of the United States, we are eternally citizens of Heaven. How should we walk in this dichotomy? Let 2 Timothy 2:14-26 be your guide.

Everybody goes through hard times. However, sometimes those hard times are extended and become times of suffering rather than just tough times. In this message, Pastor Dan gives several reasons that we should have FAITH in Suffering. If you're going through a season of suffering, we hope this will be an encouragement to your heart.

If you were to get a lecture from God through the pages of scripture, what would it contain? The beginning of 2 Timothy chapter 2 answers that question. In this "lecture," Paul instructs Timothy on four very important pieces of advice that are just as applicable today as they were in Timothy's day. Today Pastor Brad Gwartney examines 2nd Timothy 1:8 - 18. With the idea that real faith requires perseverance, we study the last words of Paul to Timothy and discuss how to apply them to our lives.

Memorial Day is a time to remember those who have given their lives in service to our country. We are so thankful and grateful to these men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice so we may enjoy the freedoms of this great country. As Christians, we should also remember and recognize the sacrifice made by so many that have given their lives in service to our faith. The writer of Hebrews gives a list of such people and encourages us to remember them in some specific ways.
