I've been hearing from old friends from Blackthorne Repertory Theatre lately, which is pretty cool.  Amazing how this Internet search stuff works.  Didn't know anybody'd even be searching, much less finding such stuff.  Got my first donation today!  So now the show is officially "Sponsored by Donations from People Like You," just like the big guys.  And, while I'd somewhat lost heart, I'm told my show "has heart," even though I still don't know what the darn thing's about.  Today, it's about 30 minutes...Did a brief review of "Nina Kimberly the Merciless," by Christiana Ellis.  Kinda funny, but also sad and touching in some ways.  Maybe that's just me?  Recommended.Featuring "Don't Wake Me Please" by Owen Poteat.  Very pretty.Theme music from Kevin MacLeod, as per usual.

Another story from the Brothers' Grimm, "Hans in Luck."  And my opinions on the story, for the little they're worth.  I think it went rather well, though.I ran into someone at the Androy the other day who'd apparently heard the last story, and thought "You'd be great with kids."  I think I'd be terrible with kids, not that I wouldn't try hard.  I'm much more comfortable with microphones & computers & such.Any opinions on how the whole storytelling thing is going, folks?  I'm enjoying it, and I do hope you are.Themes: "Continue Life," "Sovereign" and "Hot Swing" from Kevin MacLeod.

My second attempt at recording with someone else, but my first with the new Zoom H2.  Jon B and I rambled on marginally coherently after a night of drinking.  I gather some people find such shows entertaining.  Anyway, it was cool to try out the new hardware, and I've wanted to record with Jon for a while.  Good friend, good D.J.I originally thought, that he might be losing his job, but now I think something different is happening.  Oh, well, I'd been drinking, my judgement was impaired.Theme music from Kevin MacLeod

Some days, you eat the bear, and some days, the bear eats you.  Anyway, tried something new... and oddly enough, the episode # was 42.  The answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything.  And my answer got cut off before I finished.  Which is a shame.Because at the end of the show, I explained the answers to every question you have ever asked or will ever ask, but now you missed it, so you're doomed to live in a miasma of confusion and self-doubt.But it's not my fault, it's Libsyn's fault.  Unless it's my fault, in which case, it's probably someone else's fault.  But not mine.  As far as you know, officially.Glad we've got that settled.New Intro!
