Kent Brown is a golf professional whose career and interest in the game spans more than fifty years.  His first coach and teacher was his father, who cut down a wooden-shafted five iron, for Kent, when he was only six.  His love and passion for the game came almost immediately.  Today he is often kidded by his friends as being one-dimensional.  It is however, his total commitment to his sport, and his life-long desire to improve, and help others to improve, that has set him apart as one of the top teachers in the country.  Even though Kent spends most of his time at junior golf tournaments, and teaching juniors, and adults alike; he has never stopped being a student of the game himself.  Kent feels privileged to have had opportunities for personal interaction with many industry leaders, top instructors, and PGA Tour professionals—most notably, Ben Hogan.  He currently serves on the Southern California PGA Advisory Committee. Kent played on his high school golf team before playing on scholarship at Cal State
