The words are fun and play. Our research into the development of young golfers has shown that when golf is no longer fun for kids, they lose interest. According to studies from the Positive Coaching Alliance, parents and coaches tend to become too technical too early with our kids. The trouble with golf is that it’s highly technical. When kids 11 to 13 were surveyed and asked, “Why did you quit golf?” they were almost unanimous in their response: “It wasn’t fun anymore.” So how do we make it fun for kids—and keep it fun? Paul Azinger has been on the PGA Tour since 1982. He has twelve wins, including the 1993 PGA Championship. He has also had the opportunity to play on four US Ryder Cup teams. In 1993, Paul was on top of his game, but was diagnosed with cancer at the end of the season. After undergoing treatment, he successfully overcame the disease. He covers his battle with cancer and his golf career in his book, “Zinger.” Paul is currently on a book tour for his new book titled, Cracking the Code: The Winning Ryder Cup Strategy: Make it Work for You. The book details the experiences of the 2008 Ryder Cup and the strategy employed to bring the cup back to American soil for the first time since 1999. The Little Linksters Golf Program is a great introduction to the game of golf for for all children in this age group. The program is taught in a fun and interactive way using a combination of both traditional golf instruction methods and very non-traditional ways. The bottom line with the Little Linksters program is FUN!...   The goal of Little Linksters, LLC, and ultimately Brendon Elliott Golf, LLC, is to provide children from ages three years to eight years of age with quality introductory golf instruction and to expose them to all of the wonderful life lessons that the wonderful game of golf teaches us all.
