Why did God announce the savior's birth to lowly shepherds? To give us hope and clearly communicate that His salvation is for ALL people, not just the religious, wealthy, and sanitized. This should bring great hope to those of us who feel insignificant.

Most people come to church because of the influence and invitation of a trusted friend. So your strategy should be to invest in people by building intentional relationships for the sake of eternity.

God didn’t just establish giving for the sake of the church. He established giving for His people so we’ll be generous, and so we can have money without money having us.

Having money is a blessing. Money having you is a curse.

Lust and sexual sin creates so much pain and guilt, while removing our spiritual vitality and strength. But the gospel restores our strength because it offers cleansing forgiveness. It restores the joy of your salvation because we realize it hasn’t changed our standing as children of God.

Our greatest identity is not in our job; our greatest identity is in Jesus.
