When we see others receive the blessings that we asked God for, it can be frustrating. It’s easy to feel unheard or neglected but sometimes the root issue is that we haven’t put in the work in faith. But when we trust in the Lord, He issues us His respect through righteousness. Those paralyzing callings seem insane to worldly eyes, and the only way we can fulfill something so impossible, is to lean on the One who makes all things possible. In order to abide in the calling of God on our lives, no matter how big or small, we’ve got to listen to the cry of the Lord in the wilderness. Take time to dwell in Him and identify the sound of his positive and confirming voice over you. Dwell in the house of the Lord and allow Him to move on your heart this week.  Be blessed!

Life can get mundane. If we allow ourselves to settle into our routine, we lose sight of what’s really important. In today’s sermon from guest speaker Pastor Ben Stokes, we learn how to see past our selfish desires in order to grow again in the calling and the greater plans that God has for us.
