Brian Murphy was out and about for the Bayern Munich game which saw Manchester United crash out of the Champions League. The unpredictable Reds lost 1-0 against Bayern Munich and there will be no more European football this season as a result. Keith from the Brisbane supporters' branch joins us at the Old Nags Head prior to the game. That's where we enjoyed a good chat about the state of things at Manchester United, as well as running an official branch, before the reality of crashing out of Europe slapped us in the face. It was another uninspiring performance from the Reds and Brian was at the game to tell us a bit more about the atmosphere, scenes at full-time and how he was lucky not to miss kick-off. Bruno Fernandes stepped up like all good leaders do with a stoppage-time winner. A quality strike in a game that lacked real quality throughout. As well as captain Bruno showing what he can do in front of goal, Harry Maguire was terrific at the back and Andre Onana kept his fifth clean sheet of the season. Dale and Brian are joined by Stretty News columnist Matt Henderson to reflect on Manchester United's 2-1 win over Brentford. Scott McTominay scored a brace in stoppage time after coming off the bench to force a comeback. Old Trafford erupted and the boos that were heard at half-time were countered by full-time cheers. The lads then discuss Andre Onana's form. The goalkeeper made another blunder against Brentford, although the goal came from a catalog of errors. Manchester United’s season goes from bad to worse with a record of six defeats in our opening 10 matches. Andre Onana is in a world of his own, the defence is makeshift at best and Casemiro picks up his first red card of the campaign. Although there's a lot of negativity surrounding the club, there was excitement in the air as United returned to the Champions League. From Dublin to Frankfurt to Munich, picking up stories along the way that we'll never forget.
