Acceptable Fast
03/11/2019 Duración: 58minSay HiIt has come to that period of the year that we all as a congregation deliberately look up toGod, waiting upon Him in fasting and prayer, leading us into the week of congregationalrevival and afterward, annual thanksgiving service. It has become an annual tradition in IBC,and we thank God for this godly heritage. But we must take caution so that we don’t get lostin the euphoria and activities, going through the motions without maximising the spiritualbenefits this season has to offer. As we begin to wait on the Lord together from today andthroughout this week, may the Lord strengthen our hands and empower us to be activelyinvolved in this exercise.SOME SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR CONGREGATIONAL FASTJoel 2:12-13Esther 4: 12-16Ezra 8: 21-23Acts 13: 1-3Acts 14: 23Fasting and prayer are indispensable for any individual or any church that will consistentlyoperate in the realm of the supernatural. Baptism of The Holy Spirit
27/10/2019 Duración: 58minSay HiThe subject of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was one of those under dispute in several denominations in the 1970s and early 1980s. Many churches were able to resolve this Pneumatological challenge by returning to the scripture. This resolution led to ta great revival, particularly in our denomination and the body of Christ in Nigeria. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit has to do with the infilling of the Holy Spirit. it is often described as a second experience after salvation. Speaking in other Tongues is the principal evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

The Power of Unity (Part 2)
18/09/2019 Duración: 53minSay HiAnchor Scripture: Psalm 133:1-3; INTRODUCTION- A popular chorus goes thus “the more we are together, the happier we shall be.” The glue that sustains every relationship is unity. What are the practical steps in fostering unity in any relationship? The Efficacy of God's Word
04/09/2019 Duración: 59minSay HiApart from prayer, God’s word remains His ever-lasting method to bring about the release ofsupernatural power. In fact, prayer without the appropriate understanding and backing ofthe Word may be ineffective. A. W Tozer says, “Satan’s greatest weapon is man’s ignoranceof God’s Word.”Living in the realm of the supernatural becomes possible when a believer knows and apply‘what is written’ (Matthew 4:1-11) against what is happening around. The Word of God is the‘super’ behind the ‘natural.’ Only the Word can stop the hand of the devil (Matthew 4:11).A good understanding of the Word sets a believer on the pathway to continuous victory. Thisstudy is meant to stir up our hunger for the Word of God. We can only succeed when weoperate from the platform of the Word. Tonight, we will consider a general overview of thepotency of God’s Word.1. Mention (with scriptural references) individuals/people in the Bible who depended on theWord and it worked for them.2. What is the meaning of the statement, “The word of the L
