Filled with big, crunchy riffs on songs such as Machine Gun, Hole in My Wall, and Inside Out, experiments in darker subject matter on tunes like Bitter Pill and Andy Warhol was Right as well as melodic tunes that could bring the house down such as Let it Rain and Sad Theresa, Dog Eat Dog was poised to be one of the all-time classic rock albums. The only problem was, a scraggly trio from Seattle named Nirvana was taking the world by storm literally days before the release of Dog Eat Dog. The tide shifted overnight and this amazing album never got it's just due....until today.
