It's the new gear time of year! With all the snow sports industry trade shows just around the corner, new winter gear is starting to flood the inter-web. Mike and Tim briefly highlight some of the new gear that was on display at this summer's OR show and give their impressions on the show. Also discussed on this week's episode is Great Britain's domination of the cycling world and a little follow up with Black Diamond CEO Peter Metcalf. 

Gear Fix returns to Mike's 1890 two story home, this time with a new set of wind chimes. Summer is in full swing and in case you haven't noticed, it's a hot one. Despite the uncomfortable temperatures the Gear Fix Duo continue in their efforts to produce another awesome, or at least mediocre, podcast. The outdoor sports world is full of news for episode 30. The episode starts with a quick trip report from Mike B's recent river trip and then the Duo dives right into the news. Lance Armstrong has been accused of doping by the USADA, Mike and Tim discuss the allegations and give their own personal thoughts on the recent charges. Aaron Gwin dominates the mountain bike downhill scene, Black Diamond buys POC and Alex Honnold continues to blow our minds. Looking to buy a used bike?
