College basketball is quickly approaching! The full Tar Heels' schedule has been released with all dates and times. Before we get to the schedule predictions (coming next month, send yours in) I give my predictions form what to expect from the UNC players. I finally bring Ross Martin back on the podcast for our annual recruiting podcast! Ross recently got a new gig with Inside Carolina covering mostly football, but he still is up on all the basketball and recruiting info that he can share with us. Wow! Our Tar Heels are headed to Phoenix! Back to the Final Four for some redemption and to bring home something they didn't last year! That's right since last week's podcast UNC took care of the Butler Bulldogs and then had another epic matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats. This time, however, they came out on top thanks to a buzzer beater by none other than Luke Maye on a play similar to what Villanova used to beat us for the championship last year! Of course, I talk about the Butler game, a little, then move on to what many think was the championship game against UK. After that, I look ahead to the Final Four game against the Oregon Ducks. Our Tar Heels have survived, barely, and advanced on to the Sweet 16 in Memphis, TN next weekend. After blowing out Texas So. they barely do enough to get by Arkansas to set up a match up with Butler and then either UCLA or Kentucky if they win for a chance at the Final Four! Of course, I go over the wins from this past weekend before getting into the upcoming game and weekend.  I'll glance back over my bracket, let you know my last minute changes and how much it really didn't matter for my bracket. My first UNC/Duke game did not come out the way it was suppose to! What an experience though, nothing like that unless it is at the Smith Center or Cameron probably. Something I will always remember, which is probably good and bad. So of course I discuss the game mostly, I also talk about my experience here at the ACC tourney working as an expert for the Heels with New York Life. Then I quickly talk a little about our seeding and the NCAA Tournament, but just a little as we get the selections tomorrow anyway and we will talk more about it next week. Are we still a 1 seed? Your Tar Heels are ACC regular season Champs for the second year in a row! UNC had claimed the outright title earlier in the day with Notre Dame losing, so once we took down Duke on Saturday night we ended up claiming the toughest league in the country by 2 games! Obviously, I discuss the game against Duke and then look ahead to the 2017 New York Life ACC Tournament in Brooklyn! There is a little PSA at the beginning as I will be there covering the Heels as a partner with New York Life and giving some behind the scenes stuff.
