The Iranian mission to the UN posted on X that Tehran is "ready for dialogue with the US," but emphasized that "if pushed, we will defend ourselves and respond like never before." This statement was released amid security tensions surrounding a possible American attack, and after US President Donald Trump sent threats toward Iran today, urging it to "hurry to the negotiating table" and warning that "time is running out." The Iranians added: "The last time the US got entangled in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, it wasted more than $7 trillion and more than 7,000 Americans lost their lives." Meanwhile, more stories have emerged from Iran of the horrific nature of the regime crackdown. A new study by the Shoresh Institution for Socioeconomic Research has found lifestyle differences between Haredi families living in Israel's periphery and those residing in the country's center.  Families in the periphery spend more on transportation and communications, own more cars and televisions, and have fewer children. As part of Cervical Cancer Awareness Week 2026 in Israel, the Israel Cancer Association emphasized that increasing awareness, vaccination, and early detection can significantly reduce cervical cancer rates in Israel—similar to Australia—and may even lead to its elimination altogether. The United States continues to beef up its armada of forces in the Middle East after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened military action over its crackdown on nationwide protests. Yaki Dayan, a former Israeli counsel in Los Angeles and expert on the United States, says that indications are that Trump would order strikes against Iran. A new English book is coming out shortly, written by an IDF reservist who spent the most of the past two years serving in Gaza. It’s called: “Heroes of Palmar; How one IDF Unit Revolutionized Combat Medicine in Gaza.“ It was written by Dr. Tuvia Book, a London-born combat medic, and tells the story of his unit’s courageous lifesaving medical care in the battlefields.
