Gadi and Judy were murdered on October 7 in Kibbutz Nir Oz, after which their bodies were taken back into Gaza. Egyptian court rules St. Catherine Monastery public property, now what?
04/06/2025 Duración: 07minAn Egyptian court has recently issued a controversial ruling regarding the famous St. Catherine Monastery in the Sinai, the oldest Christian monastery in continuous use since the 4th century. The ruling declared the entire area Egyptian public property and implied that it could evict the monks and turn it into a museum. Archaeologist Avner Goren who was the chief archaeologist for Israel in the Sinai for 15 years and very familiar with St. Catherine, said the situation was unprecedented in its long, long history.
