Vols baseball wins first SEC series of the season, Barnes scare, Bone leaving, Grant (maybe) leaving and to cap off the episode the legendary Orange and White Game. On this week's episode of Smokey's Favorite Podcast I breakdown (kinda) Tennessee's Sweet Sixteen game vs Purdue and look forward to next season as the Vols lose two key guys in the basketball program and could lose more in the weeks to come. Vol baseball is trying to get back on track, softball team is hot and could sports gambling be legalized in Tennessee?

The BasketVols made it out of the first weekend (hallelujah) and will play Purdue on Thursday for a chance to advance to their second Elite Eight in school history, UT baseball wins weekend series as they try to get back on track and the Lady Vols make a coaching change. 

On episode two of Smokey's Favorite Podcast I air my grievances from the weekend and the SEC Championship game as Tennessee athletics is swept by Auburn on the court and on the field. The only bright spot coming out of the weekend is Tennessee topped Kentucky and the softball team dominated throughout the weekend, so a lot to look forward to as March Madness approaches and the baseball and softball seasons are in full swing. 

On today's episode of Smokey's Favorite Podcast, I recap what happened in Vol sports over the weekend including baseball, basketball and softball. I also look forward to the SEC tournament and dissect Tennessee's path to a championship and why they have the easiest road to win the SEC Championship. I also talk about what Tennessee has to do to reclaim a one seed in the NCAA tournament and why the ACC tournament is more important than the outcome of the SEC tournament for Tennessee.
