CANA is a new publication at the University of Chicago that publishes, essays, interviews, and short stories on topics that matter to the UChicago community. CANA aims to elevate and sustain important conversations across lines of difference, generating understanding and dialogue, and sharing Christian perspectives.

    On Feb28th Craig Keener gave a talk to AAIV on the gospels from a historical context (especially concerning miracles and apparent inconsistencies) and how we can learn about Jesus through basic historical methods. Dr. Keener is currently professor of New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He is a prolific biblical scholar, having published 28 books, including the widely-referenced IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament, which has more than one million copies in circulation.
