This week saw the release of Izzy Gets the F Across Town on Blu-ray and DVD. The film stars Mackenzie Davis of Halt & Catch Fire and Carrie Coon from The Leftovers; not to mention Haley Joel Osment, Brandon T. Jackson, Alia Shawkat, Annie Potts, Rob Huebel, LaKeith Stanfield. It's the debut film from self-proclaimed "film school addict" Christian Papierniak. Here is our interview with Christian to talk about his film school addiction; how instrumental Mackenzie was in getting this film made and a whole lot more.

This week, we’re throwing it back to one of our most popular releases: My So-Called Life, the series by Winnie Holzman, Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, starring Claire Danes in her breakout role as Angela Chase; the 15-year old who was head-over-heels in love with the high school’s relatively bad boy, Jordan Catalano; played by Jared Leto. The show was a cult hit, but mostly after it had already been cancelled by ABC and was in reruns on MTV. In this episode, we learn about Claire's history with acting; that she was even younger than her 15-year-old character; and all about those make-out scenes with Jared Leto!

Paul Freeman is probably best known as Rene Belloq, the rival archaeologist to Indiana Jones in search of the lost Ark. But what many are surprised to learn is that he also played none other than the joyously nefarious "Ivan Ooze" in 1995's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. In this interview, we learn a bit about Paul's acting background and how it made it possible for him to take on such a boisterous character. We also get to know how Paul feels about fan conventions and we even learn about his wonderful charity in Uganda. 

Brian Ward Skypes into Hawaii to discuss the making of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie with its director, Bryan Spicer. Here, Spicer discusses the need to bulk up the suits for the big screen, his desire to be able to see the faces of his actors in their suits, and a whole lot more.

In addition to being one of the nicest people Brian has ever interviewed, Walter Emanuel Jones played Zack, the original Black Ranger, on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which premiered 25 years ago this month. To celebrate, we're bringing you his raw interview from the 20th anniversary collection.

He's the one Ranger that everyone remembers and loves whole-heartedly. While he started out as a villain, Jason David Frank returned to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the White Ranger and then continued (and came back) long enough to play the Red Ranger and Black Ranger in different incarnations of the series. Last Thursday, it was announced that the prolific and iconic writer Harlan Ellison had passed away at the age of 84. Throughout this life, he wrote nearly two thousand works, including novels, short stories, essays, screenplays, comic books and teleplays—including Star Trek’s “City on the Edge of Forever.” This conversation between Harlan and L.Q.
