Messages That Matter By Dr. Andrew Corbett

In this episode through the major themes of the Gospel of Matthew, we now arrive at what many scholars believe is the penultimate message of the Gospel of Matthew. In the transfiguration of Christ, which each synoptic Gospel places in its climax, just before the account of Christ going to the Cross, we are given a glimpse of the eternal glory of Christ as He takes Peter, James and John up Mount Hermon where Moses and Elijah appear to Him to encourage Him on His mission to the Cross. It is the clearest vision of the eternal glory of Christ that any of the New Testament's non-apocalyptic books give us.
