  Rivers and creeks throughout our state are channeling snowmelt from the surrounding mountains, which increases the volume and speed of most waterways. Of particular concern is the Provo River, which is currently running ten times faster than usual levels.  The Provo Police Department has issued a warning to use caution near the river for the next month due to the high levels and speed.
