Sinopsis
New Zealand cricket's chief selector has no idea where the team goes from here. The Black Caps managed to make it into the final after a tough tournament, but their success came to a crashing end after losing to England in a controversial match that came down to rule technicalities. Former Black Cap turned selector Gary Larsen told D'Arcy and Goran that the Black Caps fought like "cornered tiger", and is still stunned by how far the team has come. He says that he is still flummoxed by how the game unfolded. "It was some night. It was an amazing piece of theatre. It was just an amazing piece of cricket. We've come out on the wrong end of it, and boy it hurts."He says that he could not be prouder of the team for what they have delivered.Larsen says that they showed the Kiwi spirit with their fighting spirit and refusal to give up.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
