Welcome back to Meningitis News! Today I’m sitting down with Momona Samuel who I first met back in 2005. Momona suffered from meningitis as an infant. Her parents were told she made a full recovery with no signs of prolonged after effects. However growing up, Momona experienced auras which she didn’t attribute to a particular illness until she began having seizures. Momona had epilepsy. It then took several years for her to connect her infantile meningitis to her adult epilepsy. Thanks so much for listening!
