Her background has included working for large publicly traded companies. In this two-part conversation we discuss the role of HR as a strategic business partner, and ask the question are there still barriers for women in business? In this podcast we interview Peter Crosby. Peter has been the CEO of six medical device companies in four countries, including public and private. Experience includes raising capital, company formation, intellectual property, research and development, quality systems, manufacturing, clinical and regulatory, market launch and sales management. In this episode we interview Bill Facteau who is Chairman, President and CEO of EarLens Corporation in Menlo Park California.  Bill joined Earlens Corporation as Chairman, President & CEO in November of 2013. Previously he acted as the Vice Chairman of ExploraMed Development, LLC, a medical device incubator based on the West Coast and as an Entrepreneur in Residence at New Enterprise Associates (NEA). Bill was at Johnson and Johnson (JNJ)as Worldwide President of their ENT Division. Facteau joined JNJ via the $800M acquisition of Acclarent, Inc. where he served as the President, CEO, and a member of the Board of Directors since the company’s formation in 2004.
