He has spent the last 28 years in med-tech, most recently serving as the President of Covidien/Medtronic $1.2B Peripheral Vascular Business. During Brian’s tenure at Covidien, the Peripheral Vascular Business grew from $350M to $1.2B through a series of acquisitions and a focused organic portfolio development strategy. Prior to Covidien, Brian spent 14 years in sales and marketing at Medtronic, serving as VP of Sales for the Coronary Business from 2005 – 2010. Over the course of his career, Brian has led the launch of several disruptive medical technologies and substantive M&A transactions.  Under his operating leadership, Brian has a reputation of developing aggressive growth strategies, strong operational discipline, building world-class teams, and exceptional customer focus.

In this episode, we interview Grace Colón who is the CEO of InCarda. Grace has over 25 years of experience in biopharma, genomics, healthcare, and industrial biotechnology. Dr. Colón received her Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she was an NSF Fellow.
