Even as a disciple that is thriving, there will be days when evil hits in the form of a relational hurt. How do we respond? Our text from the latter part of 1 Peter 2 lays out instructions for us to live out our calling as a faithful follower of Christ, even through a relational hurt. If you've ever been in an argument, had personal conflict or been hurt by someone...this is for you! (ie - every human this side of heaven) We'll look to the cross for our hope in our fallen world!

This week's message comes from 1 Peter 2 and reminds us of the sweet simplicity of who we are in Christ! As we remember who we are, it leads us to this natural overflow from a heart secure in our identity! 

This week we look at three practical truths from 1 Peter 1:13-21 to see what a life full of purpose looks like. We explore how to stand firm in God's grace and find true fulfillment in knowing and enjoying God as our Father.

This week we began our summer study through the book of 1 Peter called "Disciple Thriving." As we look to grow as disciples of Jesus, this book is an invaluable resource to help us see how we should live. 1 Peter is packed with incredible truth, including helpful commands to help us thrive, even in a hostile and difficult world! 

It's our final week in the CRAVE series! Another week to help stoke our passion to CRAVE God's Word! We'll also remember the sacrifice so many have made for our freedom, as well as rejoice with  a baptism. We're grateful for the body of Christ where we can encourage one another, mourn together, celebrate and worship together. 

We look at 5 reasons to CRAVE God's word as we dive into Psalm 119 together!

We kick off a brand new 'short' message series that will hit our top 3 core callings of being a disciple. We pray this series ignites a desire for meeting God in His Word like never before! 

We finish our series "Practicing the Way of Jesus" this week! We cover one of only two miracles that is recorded in all four gospel accounts. This familiar miracle has four imperatives for every person who follows Jesus!

It was an exciting Sunday together as we looked specifically at practicing the way of Jesus in the realm of compassion for others. We shared about the opportunity available through World Vision that we can take part in together as a church family! Our guest speaker from World Vision taught us through 'The parable of the Good Samaritan' (Luke 10:25-37).  If you missed today's service or have still been considering the opportunity to join in sponsorship, you can still signup and upload your own picture! 

We continue our message series "Practicing the Way of Jesus" and focus on how to purify our hearts to be more like Christ. This Sunday's message covers one of the biggest threats to our heart's purity! We don't have to fear the threat though; we'll look at some directives to help us practice the way of Jesus in our everyday lives.

After last week's message and the event of the eclipse, perhaps you've been asking the question of yourself of whether you're living ready for Jesus' return?! Over the next few weeks, we'll continue thinking through areas of our lives and whether or not we are practicing the way of Jesus in that specific area, living ready for His return. This week we're in Mark 9.30-37 and look at our ambition to be great. We use the example of Christ as our model and adopt a new ambition when it comes to our own greatness!

This week's message may provide some of the most practical wisdom we could share in regards to the world we live in. Mark 13 is commonly referred to as the Olivet Discourse. It might be one of the most difficult chapters in the New Testament. We'd encourage you to get a head start and read all of Mark 13 before you listen to this message. We talk about a variety of topics including the end of the world, eclipses, earthquakes, famines, persecution...and most importantly, Jesus' commands in the midst of it all.

This week we take a look at Mark 16:1-8 and worship together with the resurrection joy of knowing our King is not there in the grave; He is risen! While we remember the pain and sacrifice that Christ experienced, what a gift that we can also look forward to our celebration together on Easter!

This week we take a closer look at the road to the cross as we enter Palm Sunday and Passion Week. We look not only at the scene that is unfolding, but mainly focus on the King who walks this road for us. After this message, we hope you'll be able to consider the question, "What kind of King does this?"

Using wisdom from Jesus' words in Mark 6:30-31, our message this weekend is aimed at helping use times of rest for your own good and for God's glory as you find rest and refuel with those you love. Make sure to take notes for your next family vacation! 

There are no shortage of voices to listen to in our world today. We can find input around every corner. In Mark 9, we'll hear the wisdom of where to find our direction and who is the ultimate voice to be listening to. We pray that this will encourage you to feel equipped to go and make disciples!

This Sunday we look in at Jesus' life as if we're doing an apprenticeship, watching his work and seeking to model ourselves after his example. In Mark 1 and 2 we see the priorities in Jesus' life and evaluate how we can adopt the priorities of Christ in our own lives as we "Practice the Way of Jesus"!

Be with Jesus. Become like Jesus. Do as Jesus does.

Our series through the book of Mark, "Practicing the way of Jesus" continues this week in Mark Chapter 1. We look at the call of Jesus to everyone who wants to be a part of His Kingdom!

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." This message encourages us to take action in our walk with Christ as we are "Practicing the Way of Jesus." We kick it off looking at the heart of Jesus' ministry in Mark 10:45.
