Every Sunday is an opportunity to bring our gratitude to the Lord through worship, but THIS Sunday is an extra special day! As we wrap up the book of Philippians, we'll witness the generosity of the church at Philippi through Paul's account and let that inspire our own generosity. 

Have you ever felt like living the Christian life has gotten cumbersome, in trying to focus on certain aspects or make sure you're doing the 'right things'?  Paul reminds us in Philippians 3 to focus on THIS one thing. Be encouraged to embrace the sweet simplicity of focusing our eyes on the ONE THING that matters most!

This week we look at how we can have JOY even through those really difficult times in life. As Paul writes in Philippians 3, how can we truly 'rejoice in the Lord'? Psalm 16:8-11 will encourage us to keep our eyes always on the Lord, so that we will not be shaken, even when the earth around us seems to shake. 

In the second half of chapter 2, Paul gives us 2 human examples with Christlike qualities to develop in our own lives.  We can't wait to consider along with you, how God may want to continue to develop these qualities in us, together.

How do we navigate the divisive political arena as followers of Christ? This message will encourage us as Christ-followers to be 'salt & light' as we live our lives for HIM. We'll be equipped with some practical steps we can take, nearing election day and beyond!

If you ever feel 'stuck' in your walk with the Lord, this passage from Philippians 2.12-18 will help us use some tools to gauge our growth. We'll tackle 3 specific ways the Lord changes us more into His likeness and experience the JOY of transformation!

We're moving to Chapter 2 of Philippians and looking at how we can live a life worthy of the gospel of Christ in the realm of our relationships. We'll see how our JOY can spread to those around us as we fix our eyes on Christ!

The truth we find in Philippians 1:27-30 is JOY-SPARKING truth for our lives! Paul helps us return to an essential of being a disciple of Jesus Christ, and reminds us that as we treasure HIM, it's sure to spark some major JOY in our lives. 

Joy in our lives is a project. And like most projects, they never quite go like you'd expect. They take longer than you'd hope and sometimes you come away learning something you didn't know at the beginning. This week we take a look at the second half of chapter 1 in Philippians. Paul is writing from an unexpected place and he leaves us with 4 opportunities to consider for our lives. 

This week's message takes us through Paul's letter to the Philippians. We will start unpacking the joy of living in a Christ-centered community and as we gather, we pray it ignites joy in your own soul - for one another and for our Lord!

"The only constant in life is change." Have you heard this quote before? While we know the truth of who our God is never changes, it's also very true that life on this earth is full of change and transitions! In our final message of the family series, we'll see some practical guidelines to help us navigate transitions in life and in our family as we move from one season to another, holding on to the unchangeable truth of our God.

Within the context of a family, we get to experiences all kinds of joy together! We're also guaranteed to face some storms together. This week's Family Essential helps us be prepared to be 'storm-ready'! When we focus on this essential in the calm, we'll be prepped and ready to weather the storm together!

This week, we start pulling out the tools to execute the plans for our Family Essentials series.  This week's 'family essential' will be life-giving and we learn just where to find it! 

Our first week of Family Essentials, our new family series! We will be talking about one of the foundational pieces of who we have been created to be, specifically as those made in God's image. God provides us with beautiful clarity in His word, as we embrace our God-given identities and trust in His design for our lives.

1 Peter chapter 5 is packed with practical tips to help us shepherd those around us, fulfilling God's call to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Even more than the practical pointers, w see the heart of Peter towards his own Rabbi. We are encouraged to evaluate our own hearts so that we can be disciples that are THRIVING and ready to disciple others, following in the footsteps of our Rabbi, too! 

Living as a thriving disciple doesn't always mean things will be going smoothly. In fact, we're told there will be suffering at times. 1 Peter 4.12-19 equips us with a right response when we might suffer for Christ's sake...and gives us encouragement and reminders of why it's ALWAYS worth it to continue as a disciple of our faithful Creator!

In 1 Peter 4, we take a closer look at how we can live as disciples in light of both the past AND the future! We can LIVE READY for what God calls us to, knowing it is always worth it - as we live for HIM! 

This week we receive some coaching from Peter to prepare us to be a witness when it's HARD. We cover 3 checks to get us ready for the moments when the heat is on and the opportunity is primed up to be a witness for Christ! Join us for a time of worship to fill your hope tank, that it might overflow to those around you!

1 Peter 3 begins with a picture that depicts the beauty of a Christ-centered home. While our culture tries to tell us what makes a happy home, the beauty of God's design will always provide the ground work for THRIVING followers of Christ! Be encouraged - whatever your current home life is like - that creating a Jesus-focused home is possible as He pours out his perfect grace through imperfect people!
