a considered life-> Jay hitchhiked his way not only across the USA but to every state in it (taking planes to Hawaii and Alaska). He visited each of the fifty state capitols, and elsewhere. Staying mostly with friends and relatives previously known, he also met, and was introduced to, and stayed with, others along the way.
