The Archer boys are back again and this time they’re joined by a special guest.  No, it’s not the short adorable Klown.  Sasha Glasser--special effects makeup artist and seasons 7 and 13 contestant on SYFY’s Face Off--joins us to discuss this horrifyingly fun tale of gruesome freaks invading small town USA...and that’s just the college kids.   Sit back, relax, blow up your very own inflatable raft and crack into a jumbo-sized cotton candy cocoon...preferably with fresh human.  Will we make it through this one without getting our blocks knocked off? The challenging Mexican film WE ARE THE FLESH takes us some dark and disgusting places as we talk about movies that have shocked us, would we eat human flesh and what makes us wanna throw up. Somehow we also connect this film to the musical "Rent" and Ed talks about rescuing a GI Joe figure from a horrible fate (not as a child, just recently). In an unintentional tribute to the classic play Waiting for Godot, our hosts spend much of the episode waiting for the guest -- Sabrina Ellis of the bands A Giant Dog and Sweet Spirit -- to show up! But it all fits the vibe of the episode, we promise, as we dig into the mysteries of 2001's DONNIE DARKO. What does it all mean? The remake of the Israeli film LEMON POPSICLE is probably best known for launching Golan and Globus in America, on their way to creating the immortal Cannon Films. After only discussing films made in 1990 and before, we burst into the modern era with Ben Young's 2017 film HOUNDS OF LOVE. We love Australia on Archers of Horror-- but did we love this very tough to watch film?! I will say that one of our opinions on the film changed considerably during the preparation of this episode. By far the worst film we have watched for this podcast, HELLGATE nearly destroyed us. But we're back, and we'll be releasing episodes again on the 1st and 15th of every month!
