Its been 16 very long and painful years in the making but Dublin have been crowned All Ireland Senior Football Champions for the first time since 1995. Incredibly Dublins hero is goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton, who struck a very long range free kick to give Dublin their 1 point lead, 30 seconds from time.

Fans witnessed a great day of football and entertainment on the first day of the inaugural Dublin Super Cup with Inter Milan, Celtic, Manchester City and an Airtricity League XI all in action at the Aviva Stadium. Supporters got to see the elite of European football with a fantastic atmosphere created by thousands of local and travelling Celtic fans.
