Matthew 9:28 In the Gospel of Mark, chapter 2, verses 1 through 12, we see the story of a man who was paralyzed and lowered through the roof by his friends in order to be healed by Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the man, "Son, your sins are forgiven." The scribes and Pharisees were indignant at this because they believed that only God could forgive sins. But Jesus said that the Son of Man had authority on earth to forgive sins. He then proved His authority by healing the man. This story is significant because it shows us that if we have faith in Jesus Christ, we will receive forgiveness for our sins and healing for our bodies. We see that it is not enough just to believe in Jesus; we must also have faith in Him. The ability to manifest one's desires is a process that begins with belief.
