Bugsy Malone is a 1976 gangster musical comedy film. The directorial debut of Alan Parker stars child actors playing adult roles with Scott Baio (Bugsy Malone), John Cassisi (Fat Sam), and Jodie Foster (Tallulah) in the lead roles. Except these prohibition-era gangsters use splurge guns instead of bullets and cars are powered by pedals. It’s no surprise Bugsy Malone ended up as an extremely popular school production - even Adam and Joe made their own version at school - so don’t go into Bugsy Malone expecting an acting tour de force, that said Jodie Foster is easily the star of the show.
