She is a graduate of Leilehua in Wahiawa. They moved to Hawaii when she was in 10th grade, but after six months, they became homeless,and lived at Haleiwa Beach Park in a tent.She had worked at Saint Francis Medical Center as an anesthesia technician. She started going to church and was hired to be a youth pastor. She became a singles pastor years after, and then later on became a women’s pastor.
