Sinopsis

"Is it I, Lord?" The question that the disciples asked Jesus when he told them that one of them would betray him. In today's service Pastor Jeff Frazier preaches from Mark 14:12-31 the story of Jesus and his disciples celebrating Lord's supper (also known as the Passover meal) which is where we get the example of communion from. Today we learn from this remarkable story about the power of communion and how we are to receive it. The Power of Communion: 1. Reminds us of the mystery of the incarnation 2. Centers us on the sacrificial atonement 3. Impresses us on the importance of personal faith 4. Unifies us as the body of Christ 5. Assures us of His covenantal love 6. It motivates us for our mission as His Church 7. Stirs in us the hope of His return Jesus chose people to follow him that he knew would eventually betray him or disappoint him, yet he chose them and loved them nonetheless. What does that say about the heart of Jesus? What does that mean for those of us who want to follow Jesus
