A private, nonprofit organization established in 1995 by the U.S. Government, CRDF promotes international science and technical collaborations. CRDF has provided grants, technical assistance, and training to scientists and engineers in Eurasia, and recently has expanded its geographical focus to include the Middle East and Baltic regions. Cathleen Campbell has nearly three decades of international science and technology policy and program management experience. She served from 1998 to 2002 as Director of the Office of International Policy and Programs in the Technology Administration of the Department of Commerce.
