Derek A. Smith Biography Derek A. Smith is the Director of Cyber Security Initiatives at the National Cyber Security Institute at Excelsior College. Mr. Smith has years of government and military leadership experience and holds an MBA, Master of Science in Information Assurance, Master in Information Technology Project Management, and B.S in Education.
