On this week's episode of Balancing Water, Balance (Arielle) & Water (Alicia) discuss the Erykah Badu concert this past Sunday. They discuss the performance and other neo-soul artist and how concerts for them are becoming rare. Then they dive into this week's topic of women and accepting accountability for actions and decisions we make as well as forgiving themselves. They break down the transpiring situation between artists, DaBaby and Danileigh, they discuss the role both artist play in their toxic situation. Many times as women we tend to point the finger anytime someone treats us wrong on any level, but we rarely look within to analyze what we tolerated, what made the other person feel comfortable with mistreating us or what did we continue to accept and forgive the person for. No matter what others due to us, the biggest part of learning, growing and healing is forgiving ourselves for how we contribute to unhealthy situations.
