This is Part 2 of the discussion  "The meaning of God's SAVING WORD" ...  The Word of God is living and powerful: “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. [Hebrews 4:12]. The Word of God is God breathed;it has been given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. [2 Timothy 3:16]. As Jesus said before ascending to heaven, He was going to send another helper - our teacher, the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit came, He was to convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement. [John 16:8]. Yes indeed, on the day of Pentecost - the Holy Spirit came. He now dwells inside the hearts of those who have become saved by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” [Hebrews 4].
