To really appreciate this is to understand the depths from which we have been rescued and the magnificence of the life we have been given. When we grasp this we increasingly understand the wonder of our salvation which is all about what he has done. It should also mean that we become increasingly non-judgemental of others - for we have nothing to boast about!
