Nina K. Noble, and her producing partner David Simon, have created some of the most groundbreaking television series in the modern age. In this episode, Nina talks about her work as a Producer, and what it takes to re-create a 1970s Times Square for her latest project HBO’s The Deuce. About Nina K. Noble Nina K. Noble is a freelance producer, and producing partner of David Simon’s Blown Deadline Productions. With Simon, she has produced 2 long running series and 3 miniseries for HBO- The Wire, for which she won a DGA and Peabody award as well as a BAFTA nomination, and Treme, the Emmy nominated, Peabody award winning Post- Katrina series set in New Orleans. Miniseries include The Corner, which won the 2000 Emmy for best miniseries, Generation Kill, and Show Me A Hero. Her latest project is HBO’s The Deuce, starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal which recently completed filming its first season.
