Ep. 113: John Cavazos is a multiracial Latino man, native of Los Angeles, who spent 20 years living and working in New York City. An actor by trade, he made his New York City professional debut in 1979 at Radio City Music Hall and his Broadway debut in 1981 in the 25th Anniversary Revival of "My Fair Lady" with the legendary actor, Sir Rex Harrison. John's career received a second wind when he was cast in May of 2004 in The Voices of Liberty at EPCOT/Disney. This a cappela ensemble comprised of eight singers began as The Regeneration in the 1970's - a gospel Acappela group whose gifted voices and soaring arrangements by Derric Johnson (see www.singers.com/gospel/derricjohnson.html) quickly put them on the map traveling and recording and ministering around the country. The group was invited to Disney and offered a contract in 1982 and have been there ever since as The Voices of Liberty.
