While visiting her cousins in New York City, Penny meets a strange boy in Central Park. He calls himself the watcher and makes chalk drawings on the ground next to a statue of a man reading to a duck. But strangest of all…he claims to watch over something. A strange something he calls “the Dryaks” that Penny quickly learns defies all logic.
