Merry Christmas! We’ve snuck down your chimney and we’re emptying our sacks all over your Christmas tree with our take on Glen Morgan’s much-maligned remake of Black Christmas! Back in 2006 the former X Files alumni set out to make a version of Bob Clark’s classic slasher that explored themes of family and the dark origins of Christmas… but the film didn’t quite turn out that way. So with a cast including noughties starlets Michelle Trachtenberg, Katie Cassidy and Lacey Chabert and a story based on infamous head-fucking serial killer Edmund Kemper, how could this turn out to be a car crash horror movie?
