Arizona’s eyes were fixed on a bright, agricultural future in the Salt River Valley and the prospect of putting her lawless cowboy past behind her. This week's tale is the story of two boys from Oklahoma who took their fortunes into their own hands and headed west to be cowboys; and how, one fateful morning, they ended up on the wrong side of a real-life game of Cops n Robbers across the southern Arizona desert, chased by one of Arizona's most accomplished sons.
