The first chapter of the Bible charts the magnificent work of God crafting a vibrant living world out of dark empty chaos. God spoke, separated, named, blessed, commanded, and evaluated his work, and finally declared it very good. What are we to make of this beloved but controversial chapter? Should we read it as literal history? And what does it mean for our lives today? Rev.
