As the name suggests, they collect litter, organise beach clean ups and also act as a chamber of commerce within the Newcastle Region. TLC treat the earth and its inhabitants with TLC (tender loving care). Their goal is to rid society of waste and pollution through positive action and by promoting alternatives. Melissa is a Guardian for Take 3 Newcastle, Amnesty International Australia Newcastle Volunteer and Founder / Humanitarian Entrepreneur of Corethics Consultancy. She believes in a two-pronged approach to lasting peace that is, promoting environmental justice and social justice as she strongly believes they rest interdependently in the bigger picture of global peace.
