Ying Ma, author of the book "Chinese Girl in the Ghetto," speaks about women and 2016 policy, as well as her own life's journey: a childhood immigrant from Communist China, growing up in the ghetto of Oakland CA, earning her bachelor's and law degrees, to the role of presidential campaign spokesperson for Dr. Ben Carson. Her remarks were recorded at the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute's 2016 Western Women's Summit in Santa Barbara CA in April.
